Telemetry isn't shipped yet. When it does ship, this page is the source of truth for what's collected. We commit to keeping it accurate.

MCPOrbit collects none of this today. The left column is what an opt-in pipeline would send if we build it; the right column is what it would never send, in any version.

How it would work
Opt-in. Off by default. Auditable.
MCPOrbit collects nothing today.MCPOrbit has no telemetry code: no Telemetry pane in Settings, no consent screen, no telemetry install ID, nothing to switch off. Everything below is what we commit to if we build it. The one identifier the App does send is the updater's, described under Update checks; it is not telemetry and nothing here reads it.
Off by default. No install will send a byte of telemetry until you say so.
Equal-weight consent. When there is a consent screen, its “share” and “not now” buttons will be visually identical — no dark patterns, no nag.
Public schema. Every field is on this page. If we ever add one, this page changes first.
One-click delete, when it ships. A Delete my data control will live in Settings, rotating the install ID and purging the prior data from our store. There is no Telemetry pane in Settings today, because there is no data to delete.
Audit the path. MCPOrbit is proprietary software, so when there is telemetry code you will not be able to read it. What you can do is point a network monitor at the app and watch every connection it makes, the same check our security page asks you to run against the rest of the network behaviour. Run it today and you will see no telemetry traffic at all, because none of this has shipped yet.
