Boilerplate
The 60-word version.
MCPOrbit is a free, open-source desktop client for the Model Context Protocol (MCP). It lets developers and technical users connect to any MCP server, browse and call its tools, compare server-model combinations, drift-test servers across releases, and graduate vetted servers into editors like Claude Desktop, Cursor, and Windsurf. MCPOrbit ships for macOS today, with Linux and Windows on the roadmap. MIT-licensed, code-signed, no telemetry by default.
